Location: Old Scona Academic High School. 50–80 students attended.
In the Grade 11 workshop, we introduced students to what their first year of university might look like and what to expect academically and socially. We explained what universities look for in applicants, including required courses and prerequisites. We also discussed how transferring between universities works — such as moving to schools like the University of Alberta or UBC — and the steps involved. In addition, we covered what it could look like to go straight to university abroad after high school, including studying in countries like Australia or the UK, and what students would need to prepare for that path.
Presented by: Avneet Malhi (Co-President), Elyse Barton (Co-President), and Tanvee Kaur (VP External).

The bake sale was successful because it brought people together for a meaningful cause. It was simple, accessible, and encouraged community participation while also raising awareness about the opioid crisis. By combining fundraising with education, it helped people better understand the issue and motivated them to contribute to making a difference.

Teddy Tales is a compassionate, community-led initiative designed to support pediatric patients through thoughtfully curated care packages that promote a sense of comfort and learning. Edmonton Hope teamed up with USSI to make care packages for the pediatric patients at Stollery Children's Hospital. Each package included two age-appropriate books and a teddy bear, made to bring some comfort during their hospital stay. Together, we packed and delivered 200+ bundles!
