Magee's Club's Day was on Nov 13 this year. We were expecting the event to be a month earlier but it was delayed a month due to re-submissions and new policy from our school. We had all five execs help out using a rotation system so that everyone had a chance to look at other clubs as well. Hope Club had a successful day, as we totalled up to around thirty signups!
December 2025
Our club decided to make holiday cards for seniors for our first mini event. We partnered with the Magee chapter of Generational Hearts Foundation, a non-profit connecting youth and seniors. Magee students decorated cards in club meetings, which were passed over to Generational Hearts to give them out to the seniors. A lot of people came and it was very crafty day.
January 31
We held our first fundraising event on January 31, selling Krispy Kreme donuts in Kerrisdale, Vancouver. Despite the raining weather, we managed to sell out 25 boxes within three hours. This fundraiser goes to Doctors Without Borders as they provide medical care around the world, especially during crisis happening currently. The fundraiser was very successful with a profit of $242.45.
Our club planned a chocolate rose gram sale that happened on february 9th to 11th, where the sales happened on 9th and 10th, and the delivery happened the following day. First day of the sale was a rough start, however, the second day went very well, and we managed to sell around 45 roses. Although it went very well, and we had a revenue of $121, our profit was only $38.89. This money will be set aside and added towards future fundraisers.
Magee HOPE collaborated with Churchill HOPE and Project Hastings - Magee Chapter on a bake sale fundraiser. The Magee clubs coordinated to finalize baked goods to sell — matcha cookies, snickerdoodles, mini egg cookies, and chocolate crinkles. Those in Magee baked the day before to keep the items fresh. It was successful, almost fully sold out, only 2 cookies left. The collaboration went smoothly and profits went to the Project Hastings club.
