September
At the start of the school year, our club had a strong presence at Club Day, where we presented a poster and introduced our goals to interested students. Through these conversations, we recruited around 40 members from different grades and created a welcoming environment for new members from the start.
December
The Pinetree HOPE x KEY Club successfully completed our clothing drive, with all clothing items and donations carefully sorted, packaged, and delivered to the Downtown Eastside Women's Centre. In total, we collected 22 bags of clothing through the support of our school community.
Spring Break
In partnership with School District 43, HOPE Club × Student Art Council students and 45 volunteers from across the district spent Spring Break painting a new mural at Summit Community Centre. Titled "Together Through Time," the piece reflects Coquitlam's changing seasons through vibrant scenes and local birds, while celebrating diversity with leaves painted by students across SD43.
